Rashmi Verma (Managing Trustee) is a generous soul who works relentlessly for reducing the suffering of people and spreading happiness. Her vision to serve the cancer patients with love and dignity, gave birth to “The Cancer charity”. The experience of over 18 years of leadership positions with well known Fundraising and Corporate houses including Amity University, Hope Worldwide and Mahasemam Trust, sits very lightly on her. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Post- graduation in the Fundraising Management. Her continued passion and interest in women’s rights, empowerment and livelihood initiatives led her to undertake a post graduation in the MicroFinance Management.

Dr. Kumar is a Forensic medicine expert and a teacher by profession. He has played vital role in establishing several medical colleges in India and Nepal besides systems and procedures for improving the quality of teaching in medical profession. He is passionate about giving quality medical treatment to the people and believes that no man is too poor to afford the best medical treatment. Due to his love for serving the poorest and marginalized community, he  has refrained from working in big hospitals or medical colleges. Currently he serves as the Principal of a medical college in the state of Bihar.

Tito Chandy brings nearly 30 years of experience in grappling with issues faced by marginalized people and impoverished communities . Tito worked with Greenpeace in its early years in India as Director, Supporter Campaigns & Fundraising and more recently grapples with online campaigning while serving as Trustee of the Samarthan Trust on its online community fundraising project – Not-for-Profit India. In addition, Tito brings more than two decades of experience facilitating “People & Team Development” workshops believing that great teamwork is even more critical in the non-profit sector. Tito has a keen eye for quality standards and dignified approach with equity for human values.
